What the hell is an Anti-American?
Seriously, can someone exaplin this to me? This Congresswoman (read: crazy bitch) suggests that Obama is “anti-America” and that the media needs to search Congress for more of these people. Then, Palin suggests that Real Americans come from small towns in this country, not the Big City folk. Maybe those places just scare her, you know, the potential VP/President.
I try to never get vulgar on nerdpundit, but the New Yorker in me is out of control. So, forgive this. Also, I know that neither of these women will read this (they clearly don’t read and aren’t intelligent), but in the off-chance someone will relay the message: what the fuck are you two talking about? You backwards, religious lunatics can go fuck yourselves. I AM a real American, lived through 9/11, feared for my father’s life as he worked down there, pay my taxes, and try to always spur conversation and debate among my peers to consider the ppgtess of this nation. Unlike you, I don’t quell conversation and debate wtih inflammatory remarks.
I share my man’s, John Stewart, sentiments here and shall quote him to close: “Fuck all y’all”
May God bless America and get these people out of office.

Hmm… maybe it’s the same thing that makes Obama call the good citizens of PA gun-clinging religious freaks.

No, I think he’s referring to how Sarah Palin doesn’t want to campaign in any “anti-American states.” I didn’t know there were whole states in this country that completely denounce our government and way of life.

adooling,
While I value what you’re getting at, it’s completely different. If these idiot women wanted to call me “a fag-loving, amoral hippie” I wouldn’t be as upset. Certainly, I would take note of their pure ignorance, backward logic, and lack of capability of being a functioning human inasmuch a political figure in the “land of the free.” Frankly, Obama’s comment is no better, but it didn’t question anyone’s patriotism. I hope Palin and the Alaskan Independence Initiative get out of the USA and leave the Anti-Americans and me alone.

Obama’s comment was in context, first off. Palin went in front of a crowd in a small rural town and declared them “Real Americans” and everyone else Anti-American. Palin and McCain continue to fall down a slippery slide of failed rhetoric. I agree with Vin and Mr. Stewart: “FUCK Y’ALL!”

Unfortunately I think she fears left-wing extremism as much as she is a right-wing extremist.

It is infuriating to me that it is totally acceptable to be a Democrat, without question of your level of extremes or thoughts, but lining yourself up with the GOP is a mark of doom, socially or politically these days. I’m a Republic so I *must* be a conservative gun totting extremist, right?

what are you talking about??? Do you remember when 9/11 happened.. if you weren’t for the war you were a leftist softy.. you were a liberal terrorist supporter… so it goes both ways it seems depending on the current events! And let’s face the fact.. when you’re stumping for the presidential seal you have to be careful of what you say publicly.. to stand in front a crowd and state that they are MORE American than other cities/towns/counties.. is just ill-advised and in general ridiculous. In recent years, all I’ve heard is that if you’re a democrat you are soft on the war, you don’t care about the country.. so that argument is ridiculous…
