Step Brothers is a step in .. a direction…

I have always loved Will Ferrell for his arrogant rants and his obscene antics, and I have been a loyal follower of his films. After last year’s Semi-Pro I was a little disappointed… to me, that movie tanked. So going into Step Brothers I was a little nervous. Had Will lost his knack for gut busting comedy, was his shtick getting old? …. The answer is… kinda!…

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly really know how to play off each other’s energies and their chemistry is what made the movie work for me. If this film was strictly Will or strictly John C. I definitely wouldn’t have liked or appreciated it as much. This is Adam McKay, Ferrell and Reilly’s second venture on celluloid; the first one being the highly enjoyable Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
